Harmonia announces impressive 2011 ABC results

Publisher of the Year circulated over 2 million magazines in 2011

(Feb 16) The latest ABC results released today saw Harmonia’s stable of titles returning impressive circulation figures in 2011. Harmonia, Publishers of Irish Tatler, Woman’s Way, U Magazine, FOOD&WINE Magazine, The U Girls Guide to Absolutely Everything and Irish Tatler Man saw the majority of their circulation figures increase in a climate that is still experiencing economic difficulties.

Irish Tatler, established and in circulation since 1890 saw its circulation increase by almost 2% achieving an official ABC figure of 23,919 (Jan – Dec 2011). Its male counterpart Irish Tatler Man saw its circulation jump massively in a six month period to an impressive 10,595 for Jul –Dec 2011, an increase of over 40% on Jan – June 2011. First launched in 2010 the magazine has been steadily increasing in circulation and popularity.

Ireland’s favourite weekly Woman’s Way was also on the increase, with a rise of 1.3% in the Jan – Dec 2011 period with an average circulation of 22,488 per issue, 51 weeks per annum.

The Ultimate Girls Guide to Absolutely Everything saw its circulation increase to 17,366 for the Jul – Dec 2011 period, up 7% from the Jan – June 2011 audit period.

‘We are really pleased with the ABC results that the Harmonia titles have returned in 2011, although the country is still experiencing difficult trading conditions and people are having to cut back and stretch their finances further, the fact that our titles are showing an increase in circulation shows that we offer great products that are keenly priced keeping our readers in mind’ commented Harmonia CEO and RTE Dragon’s Den star Norah Casey.
